This custom art journal is on it's way to an artist in Hondoros! It is 6"X9" and has 40 pages of Fabriano Artistico 140lb. cold press watercolor paper. Wish I could see it filled with her artwork! Thanks Deni!

this is soooooo cool! thanks Kristin!!!.......deni.....;)
This book is gorgeous. I'm so glad that we were able to see it. If it were mine, however, I'd have a great deal of trouble using it. It will be aeven more of a treasure after the baby sketches are added.
Kristin, your books are lovely! I'm so impressed by your paste paper. I'm having a hard time finding hot press watercolor paper (cold press, of course, is everywhere). Do you get it online?
Thanks for your lead on the hot press paper at MisterArt, Kristin. I've shopped from them before for art supplies, but never for paper. It was kind of you to respond so quickly.
Kristin, you were kind enough to answer my question about where you get hot press watercolor paper. I checked out MisterArt and, you were right, the prices are very good. I explored a little further and found that Dick Blick has even better prices (the price is particularly good if you buy more than 12 sheets at a time), and they charged only their regular shipping rate. Just in case you should be interested.
I am blogging and recording my family's life stories for family and friends, hoping to inspire others to record their life stories, and making handmade journals, albums, and books in which to put those stories!

Your books are so beautiful. I love the little motifs you sew on the spines.

How much would something like this cost in HP 140lb paper posted to the UK?
